PT Ferro Construction Co. was started in 1964 by two brothers, Peter Ferro Sr. and Tony Ferro. The brothers had worked in construction for years and decided to venture out on their own. Starting with a few employees and some small tools they began PT Ferro Construction Co.

The brothers began doing work for utility companies but their business quickly grew to include many facets of civil and highway road work. With the growth of the business, their reputation grew too. PT Ferro Construction became synonymous with hard work and excellent customer service.

Through the years PT Ferro has worked on almost every major thoroughfare in Will County and helped construct many roads in the surrounding towns and cities. In the 90s the company expanded into the Asphalt Paving business.

Presently, PT Ferro is into its third generation of ownership and is now capable of doing almost any type of commercial, private, and public road construction work. With over 60 years in business, PT Ferro Construction Co. remains one of the most reliable road builders in the area.
